PLACED collects data for a number of reasons including as part of commissions for online engagement or consultation process, or as part of our own feedback processes.

Information and data shared as part of our participant feedback process is used to help improve our practice and may be used in evaluation and promotional material. Comments will not be attributed to you personally, unless you have given express permission.

Our online consultation and engagement are intended to encourage public participation and conversation. PLACED will use the data collected in their analysis and reports. Data (including personal data) and survey responses or comments will be shared with project partners and clients as necessary. The respective project partners and clients are often indicated by the logos included on a project page or on an "About the Team" page.

Survey responses are private. However, your comments on other engagement tools, e.g. the interactive map, may be publicly visible on this website. Comments may also be used in promotion related to this website and in reporting. Comments will not be attributed to you personally. If you upload any images you are agreeing for them to be shared publicly on this site and promotion associated with this site. They will not be used for any other purpose. Please ensure you have permission to upload images which contain people's faces. Please do not upload any offensive material. Any comments and images that are deemed to be offensive, including personal data or inappropriate information will not be made public. Please only share personal data such as names, phone numbers and email addresses when specifically asked to, do not add this information to map comments or comment boxes. All comments and images you leave will be moderated. It may take 72 hours for your comment to be approved.

PLACED recognises the importance of your privacy and appreciates that your personal information is very important to you. We are committed to complying with our obligations under the UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). When you submit a comment on our map or ideas wall, Social Pinpoint collects non-personal information about you such as information regarding the use of mobile devices, computers, operating systems, networks and browsers. This includes IP addresses. PLACED may also be collecting personal information, e.g. your age or postcode. This is to help us understand who is participating and contributing their views. It will be stored securely for the duration of our engagement, analysis and reporting. This personal data will only be used for the purposes of engagement, analysis and reporting. We will not share your personal data with anyone other than project partners and clients as necessary.

If you would like your survey responses, comments, images or personal data deleted please contact us on info@placed.org.uk quoting your comment reference number. We can delete contributions until they are anonymised and added to our analysis, after which point it will not be possible to separate and delete individual contributions.
